Bjurholm Church
The present church in Bjurholm is the third one in the community. The first church, a small wooden one built in 1808 or 1809, was replaced by a larger and more modern one in 1875. However this burned down in 1932. All that remains from that church is a cut-glass chandelier, which now hangs in the cemetery chapel, and a piece of ore from the church bells which has been melted into the present bells.
The interior walls are clad with white painted tapestry weave. Chancel and nave are connected by a wide circular arc. Bench Decor is open. A restoration was performed in 1966 by the architect of the church, Kjell Wretling.
